Israeli newspapers are reporting that on their recent trip to Israel, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West spent nearly $1 million on various expenditures.

Among the luxurious big ticket items the celebrity couple paid for was a presidential suite at a top hotel, a flight on a private jet and armored vehicles, among other things.

The couple, who traveled with their daughter, North, and Kim’s sister Khloe, rented the private jet to transport a team of 25 people that accompanied them, including photographers, make-up artists, assistants and security guards from Armenia. These expenses alone cost them approximately $200,000.

When they landed at the airport, they were greeted by reception staff from Leopard – a VIP services company, ensuring that their arrival in Ben Gurion would run smoothly, according to Israel’s Channel 2.

US Jewish Groups Praise Tillerson’s Renewal of State Department Antisemitism Envoy

US Jewish groups reacted with praise and relief on Tuesday to the news that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is...

They left the airport in a fleet of armored EE911 vehicles, personally selected by Kim herself. In order to ensure that they were well protected, they hired one of the top security firms in Israel, for approximately $300,000.

From the airport, they made their way to the prestigious “David Citadel” Hotel in Jerusalem, where Kanye had booked a Presidential Suite for himself and Kim, costing approximately $8000 a night. Along with the rooms for their staff, the total hotel bill was approximately $85,000 for the entire stay.

Then there was the couple’s meal with Jerusalem’s Mayor, Nir Barkat, at the upscale “Monah” restaurant in Jerusalem which cost around $800.

Additionally, the individual responsible for planning the visit, for months and in secrecy, was Sharon Shavit, and the cost of her services was approximately $40,000.

Finally, their flight back home, aboard an Air France jet that was rented out privately for the couple, cost them approximately $30,000.

  • Happy to hear K & K are helping Israel’s economy. Too bad they didn’t stay longer. Maybe they would have spent another 1 mil.

Was it true that their security guards were Armenian? So they arrived in Jewish country, a country that has survived repeated onslaughts over 60+ years all having been defended by Jews (in many miraculous ways, no less) yet the Kardishians didn’t trust Israeli guards for their security? Does that make sense? All the while the Turks continue to victimize and persecute Armenians relentlessly and no special abilities (certainly nothing miraculous) are shown by the Armenians in defending their own people. Some celebrities have vast amounts of cash but otherwise don’t have even the brains that God gave geese. Granted, the Kardishians are Armenian and maybe family interests played a part in their decision, but if there is a risk to their visit and the family is worth defending it makes sense with their kind of money to hire the best, and the best are Israelis.

  • Conspicuous consumption, well publicized, promoted in the halls of security personified must get you media info worth the expense. Just wonder how many schools’ and hospitals’ staff that could have financed and for how long? But then that’s not the point when you’re famous for being famous. Cute couple.
