An antisemitism watchdog group rebuked a Palestinian ambassador on Monday for promoting anti-Jewish conspiracy theories and denying the existence of the Jewish people.

PLO Ambassador to Chile Imad Nabil Jada’a made the offensive remarks at the Conference for Peace in Palestine and Israel on May 15 in Santiago, Chile. A recently obtained video of the speech shows him advocating the antisemitic conspiracy theory of Zionist global domination, and claiming that the PLO “does not recognize the existence of the Jewish People.”

“There is no Jewish people,” he said.

In response, the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) said Jada’a’s comments combined “traditional European antisemitism with Israel bashing, a dangerous form of contemporary antisemitism, that also forms the ideological basis for Radical Political Islamist incitement to genocide” against Jews.

Iran-Sponsored Hackers Said to Be Targeting Companies in US, Middle East, Asia

A private cybersecurity firm has identified what it says is a hacking group sponsored by the Iranian government that has...

“Here there can be no excuse, as some still weakly contend, of separating criticism of Israel with blatant antisemitism,” the organization said. “A peaceful resolution to the conflict must include concrete steps to eradicate official PA antisemitism, and a real recognition of the ‘Other.’ One hopes that responsible leaders will take action and condemn this blatant expression of hate.”

In his speech, Ambassador Jada’a claimed that Zionists have “plans of dominating life in the entire planet,” and cited the infamous forgery The Protocols of the Elders of Zion as a legitimate and accurate publication.

“A Jew with an Israeli passport asserts that the so-called Jewish nation is a made up invention,” he continued, citing controversial Israeli author Shlomo Sand. “Because a religion cannot be a people.”

For israel the best way to help this fellow is to make sure he cannot enter Israel, no access to Israeli airport, hospital, just Alenby bridge to Ramallah, as he makes his way to his dingy hovel he can ponder if there is a Jewish people?

  • Gary Katz

Putting aside all his obvious (to normal people) hatred, he talks out of both sides of his mouth. First he says Jews are not a people, only a religion. Then he says Jews have all these plots, which lumps them together as a people. Pick your poison, Jerk!

This man is a racist–not merely misinformed but a real hater. He brings shame to the Palestinians and to Chile, and to the human race as a whole. I can’t believe he is employed, let alone an ambassador / a spokesman of any kind. This kind of speech is morally repugnant and has no place on the world stage. It is time for the world to stop these new Nazis in the name of tolerance and peace.

If he believes “the Jewish people is a myth”, why is he able to identify them with such apparent accuracy?
