Israeli Army Medics Treat Wounded Palestinian Boy Found Lying on Street
by Shiryn Ghermezian
A team of Israel Defense Forces medics treated a young Palestinian boy with head injuries on Thursday, who was discovered lying on a street by Israeli soldiers.
The IDF personnel provided first aid treatment as an ambulance was called to take him to a hospital. The Army publicized the incident on its Facebook page and posted a video showing medics treating the youth in the back of an ambulance.
According to the IDF, the soldiers quickly contacted the boy’s mother and brought her to join her son at the medical center.
“Events like today’s, or any event where we are required to treat people in need, I couldn’t be more proud of our soldiers,” said the IDF’s Samaria Brigade Medical Officer Maj. Eli Dahan. “They kept their composure and fulfilled their duties by providing the best and fastest care they could.”
