Israeli telecom giant Bezeq sent a statement to its staff on Tuesday, after it was revealed that the perpetrator of a deadly car-ramming and meat-cleaver attack in Jerusalem that morning was a company employee.

“It has come to our attention that a Bezeq employee was responsible for the terrorist attack in Jerusalem this morning in Malchei Yisrael Square. As of now, we have yet to receive all the details, but what is clear is that this is a serious incident. The Bezeq company, for all of its employees, expresses revulsion at this despicable act,” the statement read, according to Israeli 0404 news.

The company was responding to an attack by an east Jerusalem man in the Geula neighborhood of Jerusalem on Tuesday that left one man, a local rabbi, dead. The assailant plowed his car onto the sidewalk, ramming two pedestrians, before emerging from the vehicle with a cleaver in hand, to continue attacking his victims. He was shot before he could claim any more lives.

Netanyahu Lauds Trump for ‘Reassertion of American Leadership in the Middle East’

The attack was the latest in a string of more than 30 terrorist attacks against Israelis — mostly stabbings, but also rock-throwing, firebombings and car-rammings — across the country since the beginning of October.

Tuesday’s car-ramming attack happened at almost the same time as two Palestinians on a passenger bus armed with a knife and a gun claimed two more victims, bringing the Israeli death toll to seven. Additionally, some 27 Palestinians, including 11 attackers, have been killed since the spike in violence began around the Jewish high holidays.

    “…The Bezeq company, for all of its employees, expresses revulsion at this despicable act,”

    What an insipid statement by Bezeq. Do they take moral responsibility for having provided the murder weapon? Will they take financial responsibility for the victims?

    I would send this directly to Bezeq if someone would provide me an address.

    Israeli law should provide (existing law or, if need be, laws to be enacted immediately):
    1. terrorists, their families and estates, to be responsible for ALL public and private costs of their acts;
    2. terrorists to be responsible for all medical care extended to them AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, TO THEIR VICTIMS;
    3. terrorists to be denied ALL govt assistance (medical, rehabilitation, disability, education, etc.) of any kind or description FOREVER;
    4. bodies of terrorists to be dumped (BUT TO BE DUMPED IN THE ATLANTIC OR THE INDIAN OCEAN, WATERS THAT DO NOT WASH ISRAEL’S SHORES);
    5. imprisoned terrorists to be put to hard labour and, for the length of their incarceration, to be ineligible for education, television, radio, newspapers, telephone, any contacts, except minimal family contacts required by law;
    6. unpaid liabilities of terrorists to be satisfied through sale of any assets belonging to them or their families;
    7. terrorists’ homes to be destroyed IMMEDIATELY upon conclusion of police investigation or conclusive establishment of identity of terrorists;
    8. terrorists who hold Israeli citizenship to be de-naturalised; and,
    9. terrorists, who survive their attacks, to reimburse the state from their prison labour for food and shelter: NO WORK, NO FOOD. if they want to sob to the bbc or the u.n. or the e.u. about a hunger strike – they will first have to breach the ban on outside contacts – let them, if they are able. prison authorities should respect the wishes of terrorists (ignorant of Islamic law) who declare a love for suicide. they want to engage in hunger strikes, go ahead. no forced feeding. no release. no publicity.

    I think employers will have to take a look at whether many of their employees have to be terminated. There are vipers in your midst that need to be destroyed. How easily the Arabs are led into evil. In this day and age, Islam appears to be the only religion that teaches and encourages murder and mayhem. Christianity and Judaism teach the 10 Commandments. May God have mercy upon his Chosen People in Israel and all over the world. May God visit the Muslim murderers with his retribution and his terrible swift sword.

    Israel should STOP FEEDING THE HAND THAT MURDERS JEWS.
    Employ Jews. Stop paying children allowances to people who do not swear allegiance to Israel as the Jewish State. Stop paying welfare checks to terrorists and their family.
