Security cameras near the Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem captured Tuesday afternoon’s thwarted terrorist attack on tape, Israel’s Channel 2 reported.
The video shows two Ateret Cohanim Yeshiva security guards being approached from behind by a knife-wielding terrorist. The intended targets are then seen turning around, stepping back, drawing their weapons and killing the assailant. A passerby was injured by a stray bullet.
