Border Police officers on Tuesday arrested a Palestinian woman who said she planned to carry out a stabbing attack in Jerusalem with a screwdriver.
Police said the policewomen were alerted by the woman’s suspicious behavior and stopped her for questioning on Jaffa Street, a main road that runs through the center of the city. They discovered a “large screwdriver” on her person and transferred her to a nearby security facility for further interrogation, police said.
