Dramatic footage of an elite IDF counter-terrorism unit carrying out a daylight raid in the West Bank was released by Israel’s military on Thursday, Israeli news site nrg reported.
The video shows soldiers from the Duvdevan unit entering Qalandiya — located between Jerusalem and Ramallah — and arresting Palestinians suspected of involvement in terrorist attacks against Israelis.
As the raid went on, clashes erupted nearby with locals throwing rocks and debris at Israeli soldiers. One rioter was killed in the ensuing violence and three others were wounded. One soldier was also lightly hurt.
The Israeli soldiers were nevertheless able to conduct the arrests successfully before leaving the area.
