JNS.org – A female IDF soldier was stabbed and wounded by two Palestinian terrorists near the Ariel Junction on Thursday. The terrorists who stabbed the soldier were shot dead by other IDF soldiers on the scene.
“When I arrived at the scene I found a young woman near the bus stop located next to the military checkpoint outside at the entrance to Ariel. The woman had been stabbed in her upper body,” said Yaakov Feder, a volunteer EMT with the United Hatzalah emergency response unit, Breaking Israel News reported.
“We treated the injured woman who was later taken to hospital by an emergency ambulance. At the time of her transfer to hospital she was fully conscious having suffered stab wounds to her upper body,” he said.
According to the Associated Press, the Mayor of Beit Fajjar in the southern West Bank identified the terrorists as as residents of his village Ali Taqatqah, 19, and Ali Thawabteh, 20.
