Sources identified with ISIS announced the terrorist organization’s intention to arrive in Gaza in the near future to fight Hamas and then to go for the Jews, the Hebrew news site nrg reported on Monday.

According to the report, ISIS released a recording in which the group said, “The victory in Palestine is very near [and it] will not only be over the Jews, but over all traitors and infidels.”

The audio message also mentioned Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, calling them the “rulers of evil.”

In an additional announcement issued by ISIS, nrg said, the leaders of Hamas were referred to as “cowards” and “rabbits,” and the claim was made that Gaza would soon be liberated from them. In that announcement, ISIS accused the organizations in Gaza of selling out their people and killing the true believers of Islam.

This is not the first time that ISIS has threatened Hamas and the PA, as nrg reported. More than six months ago, the Damascus branch of the terrorist group circulated a video in which it blamed the Palestinian leadership in Gaza and the West Bank of distorting Islam and of preventing the spread of ISIS in their territory.

“The Islamic State will ultimately reign over all of our lands, among them the Al-Aqsa Mosque,” an ISIS terrorist says in the video. “Our Palestinian brethren, our argument is not about land, but rather about the march to Allah. All the lands are Islamic lands. From our point of view, there is no distinction between the land controlled by the Jews or the land controlled by the PA or Hamas infidels. Our goal is one – for Allah to rule over Palestine.”

The clip shows two masked terrorists, one of whom calls on the Palestinians to “join us in fighting the Jews, the PA and Hamas, which misleads the world with its illegal rule and with the infidel laws that it enacts.”

The masked men continue: “Sons of Palestine, you must open your ears, hearts and borders to us. Do not say this is a Palestinian national problem, because by doing so, you are hurting the national unity of the soldiers of Allah, the only ones who can liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

The current ISIS announcement comes in the wake of reports about cooperation between Jerusalem, Cairo and Gaza City to prevent the Islamic State — whose affiliate, Wilayat, has been increasing in number and strength in the Egypt-controlled Sinai Peninsula — from penetrating into Israel and Egypt.

Wilayat Sinai is the group that took credit for the downing of a Russian Metrojet plane over the area on October 31, killing all 224 passengers, most of whom were Russian tourists returning home from vacationing at the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh.
