JNS.org – Israelis are largely happy with their financial situation, according to a new survey published by the Central Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday.
The survey found that 58 percent of Israelis ages 20 and over were satisfied with their financial status in 2014. The survey also found that 10 percent of Israelis were “very satisfied” with their financial status.
Broken down by gender, 59 percent of men and 57 percent percent of women were satisfied with their financial position. Among Israeli Jews, 60 percent said they were satisfied with their financial situation, while 48 percent of Israeli Arabs said the same.
Age was a factor in the level of satisfaction, with 54 percent of Israelis between the ages of 20 and 44 saying they were satisfied with their financial status. This rose to 58 percent for those between the ages of 45 and 64 and to 69 percent for Israelis ages 65 and over.
