Matt Altman, a real estate agent and star of “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” filed a restraining order against a California dermatologist for making antisemitic death threats, TMZ reported on Thursday.
Altman claimed that Dr. Alex Khadavi, who practices at the Encino and Thousand Dermatology and Laser Center in Los Angeles, walked up to him at a real estate event and said he “hated all Jews,” and that he wanted to kill the realtor. The reality TV star said Khadavi has been bullying him with racist and homophobic comments over the phone for years, according to TMZ. The restraining order against Dr. Khadavi states that the doctor must stay 100 yards from Altman and his girlfriend, as well as his brother and “Million Dollar Listing” co-star Josh Altman, and Josh’s wife.
Matt’s rep confirmed to the New York Daily News that his client requested and received a restraining order against the dermatologist.
A spokesperson for Khadavi said the “ridiculous allegations are completely false.”
“Not only is Alex Jewish, he had a bar mitzvah!” the rep said. “Alex Khadavi is a very well-respected businessman and was an invited guest of the real estate reception which he attended with his contractor, who is Jewish, and his interior decorator, who is gay. A restraining order has not been served.”
