A legendary baseball player mulling a run for the US Senate on the Republican ticket asked his interviewer on Friday why Jews support Democrats, CNN reported.

During an appearance on CNN’s “The Lead,” former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling posed this question to host Jake Tapper, who is Jewish, after being questioned about his support for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, in spite of the candidate’s purportedly offensive comments about women.

Instead of responding to Tapper’s query, Schilling, who announced plans to contend against incumbent democratic Senator from Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren in 2018, said,

I would like to ask you something as a person who is practicing the Jewish faith and has since you were young. I don’t understand — and maybe this is the amateur non-politician in me — I don’t understand how people of Jewish faith can back the Democratic Party which over the last 50 years has been so clearly anti-Israel, so clearly anti-Jewish Israel. I don’t know what else would need to be done, said or happen for people to understand that… the Democratic [party] is only aligned with Israel because we have agreements in place that make them have to be.

Tapper replied that though he does “not speak for the Jews,” he “would imagine… that one of the reasons many Jews are Democrats has more to do with Democrat support for social welfare programs and that sort of thing than it does for Israel. And I know that a lot of Jews who are strong supporters of Israel do support the Republican Party.”

    Kahane was RIGHT

Yet he was also demonized. Calling his sensible partition plan RACIST, was hounded out of office by lefty pacifists coexist Israelis. Kach party outlawed- Result was lot of dead Jews by hand of hostiles who remained within, got full citizenship, votes and dreams of taking the whole. IOW suicidal plan. While ALL the Muslims ethnic cleansed of all JEWS. Should have done same for them long ago- Now Israel will lose Jerusalem and Temple Mount to these murderous usurpers, with support of UN and USA, EU and NGO money.

there are different kinds of intelligence and, while jews score quite highly in many of these, mere IQ cannot provide perspective and values.

also, much political alignment is more about ‘signaling’ what groups you belong to than any deeply felt belief.

despite all of this, i cannot but wonder how so many jews support the democratic party while the democrats incontrovertably invest in and support jew-haters like al sharpton, jesse jackson, and so many more. the democratic party is the place to be for anti-semitism.

yet the nonsense about jew-hating republicans goes on. i remember talk about george w. bush and ‘replacement theology’ yet he proved to be a major judeo-phile (lover of things jewish) rather than ‘judeo-phobe’ (hater of things jewish. now we hear about trump and anti-semitism yet it must be obvious to any normal person that trump has positive feelings about jews and israel rather than negative.

REALITY: dem’s embrace anti-semites and want israel gone. rep’s reject anti-semites and want to support israel.

The trend in mainstream media and the Left in general is to demonize and encircle Israel. The Democrat establishment still says the expected things to Jews, but the base is increasingly unsupportive, even hostile. The entire Democrat party is moving further and further in this direction. The squeeze is on and the pro-Israel community needs a savior from the newest antisemitism. They have the chance; his name is Trump, but most are allowing themselves to be distracted by professional mind manipulators.
