JNS.org – A Hamas operative arrested by security forces after crossing the Gaza Strip border into Israel has provided the defense establishment with valuable intelligence on the organization’s terror enterprise, the Shin Bet security agency revealed Wednesday.

Bilal Razania, 24, brother of the head of Hamas’ internal security apparatus and a former sniper in the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, was apprehended on Nov. 27.  He has reportedly provided interrogators with extensive information about the Hamas terror tunnel system, as well as various Hamas and Islamic Jihad activities and operatives.

The Shin Bet reported that Razania also told interrogators he served as a courier during 2014’s Operation Protective Edge, relaying messages between his brother and top Hamas officials.
