The lead guitarist for iconic American rock band Aerosmith wished Israelis a “Happy Hanukkah” on Thursday with a rendition of a well-known Jewish song ahead of his band’s upcoming concert in Israel.

Joe Perry played “Hava Nagila” in a video posted on Facebook by Creative Community for Peace, an entertainment industry advocacy organization, and reminded his Israeli fans that Aerosmith will be performing at Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park in May.

Aerosmith is among a number of other major musical acts set to perform in Israel in 2017, among them pop sensation Justin Bieber. This despite the vocal efforts to boycott the Jewish state spearheaded by industry heavyweight Roger Waters of Pink Floyd fame.
