JNS.org — Israel’s Social Equality Minister Gila Gamliel denounced the international movement to isolate and delegitimize the Jewish state on Monday at a conference on combating BDS, hosted by the European Parliament in Brussels.

“All European countries must send a clear message against boycott, as they did in Britain and Germany,” she said.

“The BDS movement, which has in recent years encouraged diplomatic terrorism against the state of Israel by spreading lies on campuses and at antisemitic events around the world, is not interested in finding a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but rather works to isolate Israel from the rest of the world and undermines its right to exist as a democratic and Jewish state,” said Gamliel.
