Tehran might be a “relatively short time away” from having a nuclear weapon, a former CIA chief said on Monday.

“Iran is a very serious problem already and will be a much bigger one very shortly,” James Woolsey — who served as a senior adviser to President Donald Trump during the 2016 general election campaign and pre-inauguration transition period — told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer.

Asked about Iran’s compliance with the July 2015 nuclear deal, Woolsey — the head of the CIA from Feb. 1993 to Jan. 1995 during former President Bill Clinton’s first term in office — stated, “I think that the chance that the Iranians are keeping their word is about as close to zero as diplomatic relationships go.”

that may be so despite Obama assurances. Iran like NK will threaten but will not use because of retaliation by superior target(s). Iran like Russia under Putin wastes resources on military and meddling instead of building industry/consumer economy. citizens content and have a mission in life. still we live in interesting times.

Good for Iran! They will have a few weapons of mass self destruction so what are they going to do with them? Fire one or two at Israel and 8 minutes later Iran will be a blank blot on the map. The only way to avoid a nuclear war is to not have one in the first even if allah calls for it, which is of course very doubtful? Mass suicide from Iran will be good for the world but very bad for millions of good Iranians. Islam has to be destroyed, not Iran.
