The Palestinian issue, a top Tehran regime official declared on Thursday, unifies the Islamic world and “liberating Quds (Jerusalem) and destroying the Zionist tumor is the main duty of Muslims.”

Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan — the semi-official state news agency Mehr reported — made the remark while speaking to reporters in the northern city of Nowshahr, located on the shore of the Caspian Sea.

Dehghan — the regime-aligned news agency Tasnim reported — also asserted that Iran has been able to extend the range and storage life of its missile arsenal.

At the start of this month, the Trump administration officially put Iran “on notice” over recent hostile behavior, including a ballistic missile test.

On Wednesday, as reported by The Algemeiner, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani — touted by many in the West as a “moderate” — hailed the “tireless resistance” of the Palestinians against Israel, saying that “intifada” was the “sole choice by a noble nation to stay and not give up.”
