JNS.org – Israeli actress Gal Gadot is slated to host an episode of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) next month, in what will be her first time starring on the show.
The episode hosted by Gadot — the second of season 43 for “SNL” — is scheduled to premiere Oct. 7, and will also feature British pop singer Sam Smith as a musical guest.
Gadot announced her appearance on the program in a tweet last weekend, writing, “No longer a secret, so excited to be hosting #SNL.”
The Israeli actress is best known for her leading role in the blockbuster superhero film “Wonder Woman,” which after debuting this summer has grossed more than $800 million worldwide.
In September, Gadot signed a deal for a “Wonder Woman” sequel, slated to premiere at the end of 2019. She will also play the Wonder Woman character in “Justice League,” which debuts Nov. 17.
