Actor Joshua Malina, who stars in the hit ABC series “Scandal,” talked about Jewish prayer and Thanksgiving with his Twitter followers on Wednesday.

Malina wrote, “I say the Modeh Ani first thing every morning; that way every day is Thanksgiving.”

The Modeh Ani prayer translates to “I offer thanks to You” and is traditionally said in the morning upon waking up.
