For Purim, Australian Ambassador to Israel Dresses as ‘Marvel’ Superhero Played by Aussie Actor

Australia’s ambassador to Israel dressed up as a famous superhero for Purim that’s played on the big screen by a well-known Aussie actor.
Ambassador Chris Cannan shared a video on his official Twitter page that shows him walking in slow motion while dressed as the popular Marvel superhero Thor. In the photo’s caption he wished everyone a happy holiday and made a shoutout to Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, who plays the Asgardian god of thunder in both the “Avengers” and “Thor” film series.
“Please welcome Australia’s new Ambassador to #Israel and the Galaxy,” Cannan wrote. “Chag #Purim Sameach to all our friends [and] Australia’s other Thor, @chrishemsworth, better watch his job!”
Cannan’s became Australia’s ambassador to Israel last year.
