Actress Alyssa Milano has announced that she will not speak at another Women’s March event until its organizers denounce notorious antisemite Louis Farrakhan.

In a recent interview with The Advocatethe actress blasted Women’s March organizers Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory for supporting Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam leader who has a long history of making antisemitic statements and most recently called Jews “termites.”

Milano said, “Any time that there is any bigotry or antisemitism in that respect, it needs to be called out and addressed. I’m disappointed in the leadership of the Women’s March that they haven’t done it adequately.”

Milano explained to The Advocate that, if asked to make an appearance, she would not speak at the next Women’s March gathering if it was led by Sarsour or Mallory, due to their backing of Farrakhan. She told the publication, “I would say no at this point. Unfortunate that none of them have come forward against him at this point. Or even given a really good reason why to support them.”

Ex-NBA Player Lamar Odom Visits Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Gravesite With His Kids

Former NBA player Lamar Odom visited the gravesite of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, in New York on Thursday...

As The Algemeiner previously reported, Mallory, the co-chair of the Women’s March, has praised Farrakhan as “GOAT” or “Greatest of All Time,” and served as a national organizer of his 2015 “Justice or Else” rally. Sarsour participated in the rally, and has similarly praised Farrakhan and repeatedly refused to condemn him.

Mallory also sat in the audience while Farrakhan gave a speech in March in which he said, “The powerful Jews are my enemy.” Farrakhan acknowledged Mallory from the stage and she later posted about the event on social media.

Milano was raised Roman Catholic and associates with the Democratic Party.
