CNN Gets Up-Close Look at Tunnel Dug by Hezbollah Under Israel-Lebanon Border

A CNN report published on Monday provides an up-close look at a tunnel dug by Hezbollah under the Israel-Lebanon border.
Since “Operation Northern Shield” was launched by the Israeli military earlier this month, four such tunnels have been uncovered.

Meanwhile, also on Monday, Israeli soldiers taking part in the ongoing counter-tunnel activities came face-to-face with members of the Lebanese Army.
The soldiers were separated by UNIFIL peacekeepers following a verbal confrontation during which one Lebanese soldier was seen with his weapon drawn.

Later on Monday, UNIFIL announced it had confirmed the existence of the four tunnels detected by the IDF, and said two of them crossed the Blue Line (the UN-designated border), representing a violation of Security Council Resolution 1701.
