JNS.org– GroenLinks, a green political party in the Netherlands, became Holland’s first mainstream political party to endorse the anti-Israel BDS campaign.

Known as the Dutch Green Left Party, the motion was passed during the General Congress of the party on Feb. 16. The party holds 14 seats out of 150 in the Dutch parliament’s lower chamber.

“BDS is a legitimate means to help Palestinians in their fight for justice,” stated the resolution.

It also says that Green Left “will be alert and resist forcefully attempts in any country to criminalize BDS.”
