i24 News — Israeli security forces arrested two Palestinian suspects, in relation to the terror attack on Monday that killed Bat-Sheva Nagari with her daughter unscathed in the backseat of the fired upon car. The wounded driver recently regained consciousness.

A joint operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), together with the Shin Bet internal security agency and the Border Police, led to the arrest of two Palestinian residents of Hebron on suspicion of carrying out the shooting terror attack.

The two Palestinian men, relatives, tied themselves to the attack during an investigation carried out by the Israeli security forces, which led to finding the M-16 rifle that was likely used in the shooting. The statement concluded that the suspects were transferred for further investigation by the Shin Bet.

In addition to the two Hebron suspects, the IDF later confirmed that 32 wanted persons were arrested as part of the operation carried out throughout the West Bank, in which two suspects from Monday’s terror attack were caught.

The Palestinian Authority’s Healthy Ministry said a 17-year-old was killed after being shot by Israeli forces in the town of Zababdeh, south of Jenin. The IDF only said that its forces returned fire in several locations and an injury was detected, but did not sustain any casualties themselves.

Nagari, a 40-year-old schoolteacher and mother of three, was in the front passenger-side seat of the vehicle that was targeted by the Palestinian terrorists. Her 6-year-old daughter was in the backseat unhurt.

Arie Gotlieb was seriously wounded, while driving the car when it was attacked, and on Tuesday, a source told i24NEWS that he woke up and tried to communicate with his family at the Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheba.

The funeral for Nagari took place Monday night, at the Gush Etzion Regional Cemetery in the West Bank cemetery of Kfar Etzion.
