Two companies have severed ties with Lebanese-American former porn star and content creator Mia Khalifa after she made comments on social media supporting the Hamas terror attacks in Israel that have already killed over 1,000 Israeli civilians since Saturday.

Playboy said that 30-year-old Mia Khalifa, whose real name is Sarah Joe Chamoun, is no longer creating content for its Centerfold platform, which the magazine created to help models sell content to and interact directly with fans. Khalifa’s channel on the platform, which she joined in February 2022, has also been removed.

Starting on Saturday — the same day that Hamas launched its large-scale attack against Israel — Khalifa wrote multiple messages on X/Twitter to her over 5 million followers making fun of the deadly attacks in Israel. In one post, she wrote, “I can’t believe the Zionist apartheid regime is being brought down by guerrilla fighters in fake Gucci shirts — the biopics of this moment better reflect that.”

She also asked Hamas terrorists, who she described as “freedom fighters,” to “flip their phones and film horizontal” so she could have a better viewing of the atrocities carried out by the terror group. She additionally shared a picture of the terrorists riding in the back of a pick-up truck and called the image a “Renaissance painting.”

Khalifa then reposted a message calling the United States of America “a terrorist state” and criticized reality television star and cosmetic mogul Kylie Jenner for sharing a message in support of Israel, which the latter then deleted.

“Mia has made disgusting and reprehensible comments celebrating Hamas’ attacks on Israel and the murder of innocent men, women, and children,” Playboy said on Tuesday in an email to CENTERFOLD users.

The Ontario-based company Red Light Holland also announced on Tuesday that it has fired Khalifa as a consultant because of her “disgusting tweets.”

In an attempt to defend herself, Khalifa tweeted that she believes her posts are “in no way shape or form enticing [the] spread of violence,” and said she called the terrorists “freedom fighters because that’s what the Palestinian citizens are… fighting for freedom every day.”

After Red Light Holland fired her, she wrote in response on X/Twitter, “I’d say supporting Palestine has lost me business opportunities, but I’m more angry at myself for not checking whether or not I was entering into business with Zionists. My bad.”
