i24 News – Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant warned Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah against “making a fatal mistake,” as he visited IDF troops in northern Israel, amid repeated rocked barrages by the Iran-backed terrorists.
Gallant clarified what Israel’s priorities are.
“We are on the defensive in the north as we attack with full force in the Gaza Strip, this is our priority,” he said, in a statement circulated by his office.
“We are not looking to get into a war in the north, yet we are prepared for any task. The Air Force maintains most of its firepower for the Lebanese arena, against Hezbollah,” he says.
Gallant added that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar “made a fatal mistake and sealed the fate of Hamas and the fate of Gaza. Should Nasrallah make a similar error, he will seal the fate of Lebanon.”
The statement came a day after a long-hyped speech by Nasrallah, where the terror leader came short of committing to an all-out war with Israel on behalf of Hamas, a Palestinian Sunni group.
