German Police Arrest 2 Women for Smashing Synagogue Windows

Two women in the German university city of Cottbus were arrested after smashing the windows of a local synagogue, ABC News reported on Wednesday.
The 21- and 36-year-old women broke several windows before police apprehended them, according to the report. The synagogue is the only one in the Brandenburg state where Cottbus is situated, about 125 kilometers southeast of Berlin.
Police had noticed the two women in the synagogue vicinity on Tuesday morning, a police spokesperson said.
Officers noted that the women had alcohol on their breaths and that a far-Right motive was being investigated.
