In a recent television interview, Sudanese Minister of Investment Mubarak Al-Fadil Al-Mahdi said it would not be a “big deal” if his nation was to normalize relations with Israel.
Such a potential move, Al-Mahadi told Sudania 24 TV, should be “based on the interests of Sudan,” and nothing else.
“I believe that the Palestinian cause has delayed the progress of the Arab world, and has been exploited by the Arab regimes to oppress their peoples, under the guise of the struggle for the sake of Palestine,” he went on to say.
