The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), recently reported on this week’s conflict between Israel and Gaza based terrorists, claiming that the hundreds of rockets which have flown into Israel this week “were the first rockets fired from Gaza in more than a year”.
Member’s of the CBC staff who worked on this story missed the March rocket attacks on Israel, perpetrated by members of the terrorist group Islamic Jihad, based in the Gaza Strip.
While over 130 rockets have been fired at Israel in the past week, during a conflict which began when an Israeli worker was killed in a Palestinian terror attack near the Egypt-Israel border, more than 281 rockets have been fired at Israel in 2012.
