A columnist, writer, political adviser, and former US government official who served with the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq, Dan Senor is the presenter of the popular podcast "Call Me Back." With Senor at the helm, the show has become one of the most valued and insightful sources of information and analysis for supporters of Israel. During an address to students at Duke University in April 2024, Senor explained why Israel pursued military action against Hamas following the Oct. 7, 2023 pogrom. "Most Israelis, including the Israeli government from right to left, believe there's no way Israel cannot respond," he said. Addressing the international opprobrium directed against Israel, Senor observed that the Jewish state "is fighting this war in the most responsible way that they can, and even still, it is attracting this kind of [negative] attention." Senor then turned to the current tide of global antisemitism, saying that he never believed that "the outrage of the world would be directed at Jews for objecting to being massacred, and that's exactly what has happened."
