For a full year after the Oct. 7 Hamas atrocities, Australian television presenter Erin Molan electrified audiences in her home country and around the world with her riveting, extremely personal on-air commentaries in support of Israel on her eponymous show. But in December 2024 — in a glaring example of top media outlets succumbing to pressure from pro-Hamas advocates — Molan's show was axed. Unbowed, Molan responded to her firing by declaring, "I'm here to be the loudest member of the silent majority that I can be." In a video message, she emphasized that she supported Israel as "the only democracy in the Middle East fighting bloodthirsty killers on behalf of the entire world," noting that Sky's decision to cancel her show was the result of her "caring too much" about the fate of "innocent children in Gaza at the hands of terrorists who attack, kill, kidnap Jews."
