JTA – NEW YORK  — There was no Israeli-American real estate developer named Sam Bacile, and the 100 Jews he claimed had financed his anti-Islam film were fictitious as well.

Both fabrications were offered to the media apparently to hide the true identity of the Egyptian Christian from Southern California who has since been fingered as the main figure behind the film that sparked violence across the Muslim world.

  • Interesting that none of the media has made this falsehood public. Am I wrong to consider this another conspiricy plot to blame Jews for things they are innocent of? Now that the UN has passed an international law forbidding insult to Mohammed or Islan isn’t it about time they also forbid anti Semitism of which they themselves are guilty of?
