According to reports on English-language Israeli news site Ynet.com, a Jewish man in his thirties was stabbed in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Ras-al-Amud Friday evening.

He was rushed to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.

According to the report the man’s assailants were two Palestinian Arab youths. They were not apprehended and security forces are searching the area.

The man testified immediately following the attack that he was walking in the street when he felt a harsh blow and then a searing pain in his back which turned out to be a stab wound.

Ynet.com reports that an eyewitness said that the man was walking in the street with another man, on their way to the nearby Ma’ale HaZeitim neighborhood, when the two assailants attacked him, stabbed him and fled.

MDA spokesman Zaki Heller told Ynet that,”When the paramedics arrived at the scene, they found a man bleeding from a deep stab wound to the torso. He was fully conscious and was treated on the scene before being taken to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in stable condition.”

  • Regarding the stabbing incident, I will be interested in knowing the reaction of the Arab community in Jerusalem in particular, and Israel, in general. I’m VAITINGGGGG!!!!

  • I wish that I was near to that incident, those two Jew-hating Arabs wouldn’t have lived for a further 30 seconds after stabbing the Jewish victim of that attack. It would have been their bad luck to have run into me, they would have been able to walk for about 5 metres then dropped down dead from having their balls cut off. Enemies of the jewish people have to be taught a lesson that they will never forget, for every Jew they kill 25 of them will be killed in revenge.

Just one point. Please do not refer to “East Jerusalem” as if it is a legal destination. There exists no such legal city that is called East Jerusalem and using it (in a headline no less) only makes people think there is. This is damaging to Israel’s cause.

There is eastern and western Jerusalem, both a part of Jerusalem. That’s it, the entire enchilada. Using the correct term is the way to go as it states the legal truth. Anything else reinforces what can only be referred to as a lie.
