Naftali Bennett voiced a novel idea for labeling goods made in the West Bank during a visit to Samaria on Tuesday.

The Economics Minister suggested they be labeled “Made in the Peace Zone.”

“That way,” he said, “the world will come to Judea and Samaria and see what real coexistence and yearning for peace are.”

Bennett was referring to the joint ventures between Jews and Arabs that take place in the territory and noted that these are the sort of initiatives that will create peace in the region, not boycotts.

Bennett was commenting on Germany’s recent tacit approval of EU efforts to label products made in Judea and Samaria.
