JNS.org – Upon landing in Tel Aviv in the early morning hours on Wednesday, American musician and actor Justin Timberlake immediately headed to the Western Wall to pray.
Joined by his wife, actress Jessice Biel, as well as his parents, Timberlake posted a photo of himself in prayer, with both hands touching the Kotel, to his Instagram account.
Timberlake, whose grandfather was a Baptist minister, is not widely known for his strong religious beliefs. But he was raised a devout Southern Baptist and sang in his church while growing up in Memphis. He also sports a tattoo of a Christian cross on his shoulder.
Timberlake is in Israel as part of his 20/20 Experience World Tour. He will perform Wednesday night in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park.
