Jonathan Medved
Founder and CEO of OurCrowd
Jonathan Medved, one of Israel’s leading venture capitalists and a serial entrepreneur, is the founder and CEO of OurCrowd, an equity-based crowdfunding platform that allows accredited investors to put as little as $10,000 into a select number of approved and vetted Israeli (and later global) startups. Since its inception in 2013, OurCrowd has raised more than $100 million for 57 portfolio companies. Medved is no stranger to venture capitalism: By the time he temporarily exited the venture capital world to found the mobile social apps company Vringo in 2006, he had backed more than 100 Israeli startups, helping 12 of them reach a net worth of more than $100 million apiece.
