Iran Meets Atomic Agency Deadline for Investigation on Past Nuclear Activities

Iran has honored a Thursday deadline for supplying information to the International Atomic Energy Agency for assessing its past nuclear work, including activities that might have been military-related, the agency reported.

Meeting the deadline was another in a series of steps that Iran promised to take as part of the nuclear agreement reached in July with six world powers, including the United States. The agreement will relax sanctions on Iran in exchange for limits on the Iranian nuclear program to ensure it is peaceful.
