JNS.org – Several hours after Jews and Arabs clashed Sunday on the Temple Mount, Jordan accused Israel of breaching the delicate status quo in the area.

Jordanian Media Affairs Minister Mohammad al-Momani released a statement slamming the “Israeli settlers and police” for storming the “Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram al-Sharif (Temple Mount).” Al-Momani said Israel’s actions at the site were “a violation of international laws and conventions” and could lead to “serious consequences.” Al-Momani was apparently referring to several incidents on Sunday in which Jews tried to pray at the site or acted inappropriately. Under the 1994 Israeli-Jordanian peace treaty, Jordan administers the Muslim sites on the Temple Mount through the Islamic Waqf religious trust.

Meanwhile, Palestinians are capitalizing on the large number of Israelis visiting Jerusalem during the Passover holiday by once again claiming that the Al-Aqsa mosque is “in danger.” Several Islamist groups took to social media to urge “all devout Muslims to defend the holy Al-Aqsa mosque against the Jews and their crusader allies’ attempts to defile it,” while traditional Palestinian media broadcasted false reports suggesting that the Israeli government strives to change the status quo at the holy site by “allowing thousands of Jews to ascend Al-Aqsa.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly stated that Israel has no intention of changing the status quo on the Temple Mount, in which Jews are allowed to visit the compound but are banned from praying there or entering Al-Aqsa.

  • What has and is happening to the Jewish people is an atrocity. First of all it belongs to the Jewish people and was given to them with an everlasting covenant by God. Second, this is the remains of the Wailing Wall that the Jewish people can go to. Any other country other than Israel would have demolished the Muslim temple back in 1948 and rebuilt their Temple. Muslims have at least two other Holy Sites but Israel has none because the Romans destroyed their Temple. I am not worried about them because God is on their side. How any rational person who knows history could feel any different amazes me. God, because of their wickedness has put a veil over their wicked eyes. There is not one rational person who knows the history who doesn’t see and know this as truth. The Muslims will not be satisfied with anything but total annihilation of the Jews. It was foretold in the bible and we see everything falling into place. A One World Government with the Anti-Christ control. The Jewish people have gone through some horrible things but they were being punished for their disobedience to God in the past and their rejection of Jesus, who is God in the flesh, their true Messiah that the Old Testament told about and everything has came true. Yes, he may have punished them but he loves them like they are his wife and he will protect them at the end times. I know there will be many Jewish people die but he will protect Israel from destruction because he said I have given you an everlasting name. Our economy is so much worse than our government tells us the public. Earthquakes have increased in number and intensity, just as the bible said. The Godless people over this NWO are nothing more than puppets in Satan’s hands and everything that God said would happen, will happen. If only one Jewish person reads this and gets a bible and finds a Christian church, it will be a wonderful miracle and blessing and they will spend eternity with the Lord in a new heaven and earth. Anyway, this is my prayer for God’s chosen people who’s race he chose to have his Son, Jesus Christ, come to earth and die on the cross, the ultimate sacrifice and it is a gift but one you have to accept. No one can work or do enough to be worthy because God is Holy and for him to have fellowship with us he had to have a plan to redeem us. Oh, how I pray than just one will believe and check this out.
