JNS.org – Ahead of the Palestinian Authority municipal elections scheduled for October, Hamas released a video portraying the Gaza Strip, which it rules, as a lush haven.
In contrast to its usual claim that Gaza is an “open prison camp” — in dire straits due to the Israeli blockade — the terrorist group portrays the enclave in a completely different light for the current clip.
The video, aimed at highlighting Hamas’ successes in Gaza — as a way to garner votes — includes newly developed neighborhoods that are not only clean, but filled with impressive buildings and green parks, lakes and beaches. In it, residents are seen enjoying all the facilities portrayed as at their disposal — and holding up a sign reading, “Thank you Hamas.”
