Politico – The swirl of scandal around Donald Trump’s donation to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is intensifying, with the Republican nominee and his aides vigorously pushing back against the idea that he bought the decision by Bondi to not pursue an investigation into his Trump University.

The controversy whipped back up last week when news emerged that the Trump Foundation paid a $2,500 fine because it improperly donated $25,000 to Bondi’s political election committee in 2013 (tax-exempt charitable groups are not allowed to make political contributions).

    He did nothing wrong. The lawsuits were frivolous and politically motivated and would open the door for every other for profit school in Florida to be sued for fraud because lord knows there are a whole bunch of real diploma mills all over the state promising degrees and guaranteeing crippling debt. If I’m treated fairly and make a donation to the judge for being a mensch those people claiming bribery are garbage people just to be clear on who is who. The fact that some judges are corrupt and political and are willing to hear a case that should be tossed says zilch about Bondi and Trump who are honest and correct in what they did.
