During an interview with Israel’s Channel 2 on Monday, American pop star Mariah Carey fended off inquiries about her former fiancee James Packer, who is linked to an ongoing corruption probe of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Carey — who arrived in Israel on Monday to promote Premier Dead Sea Cosmetics — was asked about a private dinner Carey, Packer and Netanyahu had in 2015, as well as Packer’s current location. The Grammy award winner laughingly responded about the Australian billionaire, with whom she called off her engagement with in October: “I don’t know where the motherf—er is. How am I supposed to know? I don’t know, for real. I really have no idea about the political stuff that goes on, I don’t pay attention to it.”

Israeli police have been seeking to question Packer, a close friend of Netanyahu, since March, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Carey on Monday declared her innocence in the matter, saying, “What did I do? I didn’t do anything…Honestly I feel bad about that if that happened to anybody, I don’t want anyone to have any kind of bad issues for themselves and I’m just trying to be, trying to do me, and that’s it. That’s all I can do, is be responsible for my own self.”
