22. Miami University — Oxford

Oxford, Ohio

While only about six percent of this school’s undergraduate population is Jewish, a majority of those are actively engaged in Jewish life, whether through Chabad, Hillel, AEPi, or one of the four historically-Jewish Greek societies. There is a Jewish Studies minor, and some 30 students go on the school’s Birthright trips each year. What’s more, there is little to no antisemitic and anti-Israel activity at MU. The Hillel offers interesting and frequent programming, from an Ethiopian Shabbat to Hockey Havdallah, while Chabad brings students to NYC for the international Shabbaton leadership conference, and puts up an ice menorah in middle of campus.
