Times of Israel – The World Bank will invest upwards of $6.4 million to “improve and expand coverage of water and sewage services” in Gaza, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The Gazan water supply is “over utilized and badly contaminated,” according to the World Bank, and the project aims to “finance the rehabilitation and expansion of existing water and waste water systems, and enhance the capacity to provide and maintain water and sewage services.”
