Clive Lawton
Limmud
As one of the co-founders of Limmud, Lawton had a major hand in developing an organization with a global reputation for creating events which introduce a lively approach to Jewish learning. Attracting Jews of all backgrounds, Limmud (which means learning) retreats are sprouting up in most major cities in the world, offering a wide array of classes and workshops, covering the spectrum of Jewish scholarship and culture. Lawton is currently an advisor to the organization, and is a well known educator in the Jewish community, for which he was awarded the Max Fisher International Prize for Jewish Education by the Jewish Agency, in Jerusalem.
