Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spent his Independence Day crooning with Israeli pop star Idan Amedi at the “Independence Songs” ceremony at the President’s Residence. It is the country’s official Independence Day celebration and honors 120 exceptional IDF soldiers. Earlier in the week Netanyahu released a video offering his greetings to Israel on its 65th year. President Shimon Peres preceded Netanyahu with his own performance, singing the song “I Wish” together with Keren Peles.
