Vogue: Israel’s ‘Stunning Beaches’ Have ‘Something for Every Type of Sand Lover’
by Shiryn Ghermezian
Vogue magazine published on Tuesday a list of “must-visit” beach spots in Israel for tourists hoping to soak up some sun.
The magazine said Tel Aviv’s 13 beaches — such as Nordau Beach, Hilton Beach, and Alma Beach — were part of the city’s culture and cited a local restaurant owner as saying, “Life happens outside in Tel Aviv, in the cafes and on the streets. The connection to the sea is part of our daily life.”
Other areas recommended by the magazine included Coral Beach and Mosh Beach in Eilat; the seaside of Old City Acre; Aqueduct Beach (also called Arches Beach) in Caesarea; and Ein Bokek, a resort town on the Israeli shore of the Dead Sea.
Vogue noted that the Jewish state’s “standing as a stellar beach destination often goes unsung” and the beaches of Israel have “something for every type of sand lover.”
