JNS.org – Omarosa Manigault, who serves as an aide in the Trump administration, boasted of seeking a “good relationship” with Nation of Islam leader and known antisemite Louis Farrakhan.

“I think any of your audience would know that I’ve never shied away from having an open, and I believe a good, relationship with Louis Farrakhan,” Manigault said Thursday in an interview with the Chicago talk-radio station WVON, Politico reported. “I would look forward to receiving that invitation and sitting down with him.”

Manigault, the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison, is a former reality TV star who gained fame on the first season of President Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice” and appeared later on its sequel, “Celebrity Apprentice.”

In March 2016, Farrakhan praised Trump for being the only candidate “who has stood in front of the Jewish community and said, ‘I don’t want your money.’” But Farrakhan stopped short of endorsing Trump.

Farrakhan, who has headed the Nation of Islam since 1977, is described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as an “an anti-Semite who routinely accuses Jews of manipulating the U.S. government and controlling the levers of world power.”
